Background of the meeting

To strengthen technical exchange and product integration of distilled spirits among countries, explore new trends in the development of international distilled spirits, actively respond to the implementation of the national "the Belt and Road" strategy, promote the traditional culture of Chinese Baijiu, improve the international popularity and influence of Chinese distilled spirits, realize the transformation from scale to characteristics, actively create consumption experience and product upgrading. In the context of the implementation of Chinese Baijiu overseas plan, the China Wine Association, China National Institute of Food Fermentation Industries, the International Joint Research Center for Liquor Quality and Safety and Yibin Wuliangye Co., Ltd., in conjunction with international research institutions on distilled spirits (whiskey, brandy, vodka, rum, tequila, gin, soju), have decided to jointly hold the "Third International Distilled Spirits Technical Forum " in Chengdu, Sichuan from October 15th to 18th, 2018.
