Development and application of intelligent evaluation method of beer preference based on consumer neuroscience

Cooperation project with Yanjing Beer.

Consumers' demand for beer is changing to the direction of high quality, individfication and diversification. Traditional methods of investigating consumer demand are highly subjective, costly and time-consuming. In order to obtain the real demand of consumers more quickly and accurately, we have built a beer drinking preference system based on the technical means of human factor engineering and multi-modal data fusion. By integrating (1) data collection and integration, (2) model construction, and (3) multi-modal fusion, the online cloud platform is used to test beer preference across the country, which can predict beer consumer preference more quickly, and the prediction model combined with EEG and micro-expression is more accurate.

Based on this research, we published a core article of Peking University, "A Study on Consumer beer Drinking Preference based on brain wave analysis". In addition, we wrote and declared materials according to the cooperation project with Yanjing Beer, and conducted online defense of user experience innovation case on July 30, 2023. The selection was sponsored by the China Electronic Quality Management Association, and after independent declaration, material review, online defense, expert review and other links, the case "Beer drinking Preference Test System based on multi-modal data fusion to help enterprises precise product development and marketing promotion" was successfully selected into the "2023 National User Experience Innovation Typical Case Collection". It plays an important guiding role in establishing industry benchmarks and promoting the implementation of innovative concepts, tools and methods for user experience.
